Robert Bruha

Robert’s physio journey started as a patient after suffering an ACL injury during a high school soccer game. His rehab program demonstrated the role a physiotherapist can play in returning people to full health/fitness, and inspired him to do the same for others in the future.

Robert is a University of Alberta graduate, first obtaining a Bachelor of Science before going on to pursue a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy. He enjoys working with all populations of patients, with a particular interest in treating endurance athletes. Robert believes strongly in providing comprehensive care, by taking the time to determine the potential factors that could be influencing pain and understanding how that pain is affecting a patient’s life. He then provides a personalized treatment plan based on the principles of movement and education, so that patients can not only understand their condition, but also how their rehab will help get them back to doing the things they love to do.

Outside of the clinic Robert is an avid cyclist, and keeps busy with long hours on the road bike, as well as exploring the vast network of mountain bike trails offered by the Edmonton river valley. He is also part of the Alberta race scene, fueling his competitive spirit by participating in road and cyclocross races. When not on a bike, Robert can likely be found spending time on other outdoor activities such as cross-country skiing, camping, and hiking; or else enjoying a patio beer with friends.
