As the name suggests, while the glute bridge targets glute activation, it can be  adapted to target various muscle groups. Let’s talk golf! ⛳️ 

Golf is an intricate sport that requires many hours of practices and thousands of swings to improve one’s play. Many golf related injuries can be attributed to poor mechanics or overuse. Some common injuries include:
-Lower back pain
-Mid back pain
-Shoulder pain
-Wrist pain
-Elbow pain (especially the coined term “Golfer’s Elbow”)

Many of these injuries can be prevented with a program consisting of strengthening and mobility exercises and a pre-game routine. Our team of therapists are skilled in providing a comprehensive assessment to pinpoint the cause of the pain and to help get you back playing pain-free again.

When in comes to pain and injury management, it is important to consider the role of both passive and active treatment. 

“Passive modalities” refer to interventions that are applied to the patient without active participation from the patient. Passive treatments are most effective when they are combined with active treatment strategies.

As the name suggests, active treatments requires active patient participation. This can include exercises that aim to improve:
