  I would gladly recommend Austin Holt to anyone with any kind of physical therapy needs.  I was referred to Austin to treat my ruptured Achilles tendon.  My first visit I could barely walk and Austin explained to me the plan for the many months of rehab ahead.  His care throughout the healing and therapeutic process was professional and caring.  He assured me of my abilities to perform all the new and progressively more challenges exercises and pushed me when I couldn’t.  He kept me accountable throughout the 9 months of visits.  I couldn’t believe that, on my first visit,  Austin said he would get me running.  Well I’m glad to say I’m jogging and I can’t believe I’m actually doing it.   I've been seeing Norm at Advantage for several years starting when I was a professional athlete and continue to see him now that I've retired.  He is the only physio I trust to get me back to living my normal life after any injury!  He focuses on educating not just fixing the problem and I have gained so much knowledge from him over the years! Even now that I live 1500km away he's still my go to person for recovery!   I was referred to Advantage Sports Medicine by the Glen Sather Clinic for physio on my shoulders.  I’ve had chronic issues for years and was very skeptical that Physio could accomplish much. My physiotherapist Sylyanne Foo made me a believer.  Over several weeks of doing the simple exercises she showed me, I’ve gotten back a good deal of functionality and my pain has been greatly reduced.   I had a back injury and was referred to this place by the military.  I cannot speak highly enough of all the staff here.  I was in expert knowledgeable hands. I recieved treatment here for about 8 weeks

The reception staff always greeted me warmly and made sure all the details of my visit were confirmed and correct.

My physiotherapist,  Austin, was the perfect balance between professional and aloof. He was knowledgeable and tailored his programs to fit my needs.  He was also stern with me when needed,  providing a refreshing environment of "compassionate, but not coddling" that is rare to find in physiotherapists. He challenged me and made sure my progress was manageable to me and measurable to his program.  Through his treatment,  I was able to overcome my injury and even find other long term issues which he also treated.

  Went to Advantage because they were on a list of preferred physiotherapists provided by my doctor and orthopedic surgeon. Norm located a problem area and helped me to strengthen it, giving me a ton more relief than chiropractors and other physiotherapists have not been able to accomplish over the years!!

  Sylyanne Foo is an excellent Physiotherapist. Under her care my mobility has increased significantly. She not only explains the problem but also uses pictures and models. I went in for upper back and neck pain. Working with Sylyanne was a wonderful experience. She walks you through each exercise, and if you need clarification,she  does not hesitate to help. If the exercises were not working properly or causing pain, they were switched out for something better fitting.

  Sylyanne was very professional and knowledgeable about my injury. They developed a rehabilitation program and provided in office treatment which has helped me heal and get back to the activities I used to do. They provided detailed demonstrations of exercises that isolated and targeted the area that needed repair.

I highly recommend Sylyanne at this physio office. The location has a great facility with helpful staff and and great parking.
