I graduated from the University of Alberta in 1998 and have been helping people recover from orthopedic and sports injuries since.
In order to help serve my patients, I have taken many post-graduate courses including all 5 levels of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association’s Orthopedic Curriculum culminating in the Advanced Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Therapy in 2008.
I also have a special interest in vestibular and concussion rehabilitation which led me to complete the prestigious Duke University Vestibular Program.
I am also certified in Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) and the Titleist Performance Institute Golf Program.
Prior to starting Athletes’ Advantage Physiotherapy (now part of Advantage Sport Medicine), I worked for the Canadian Forces at CFB Edmonton as part of a multidisciplinary team of orthopedic surgeons, physiatrists, family physicians and other allied health professionals. It is this experience that led me to form a partnership with HealthPointe Rehabilitation in order to provide our patients with more comprehensive treatment experience.
Away from the clinic, I like to spend time with my wife and three kids hiking in the mountains, trail running and watching the Oilers (who everyone knows will win the cup….).
