Tannis, PT

I grew up in the Edmonton area playing soccer and Ukrainian dancing where I competed competitively for 15 years. I gained a passion for rehabilitation growing up as an athlete and experiencing how difficult it was to be sidelined by an injury. This increased my drive to want to be a part of someone’s journey to recovery.
I am a recent graduate from the University of Alberta. While studying at the University of Alberta I completed a Bachelor of Kinesiology majoring in Physical Activity and Health as well as a Masters of Science degree in Physical Therapy.
My goal is to assist you in getting back to what you are passionate about.  I value making my clients the priority and finding ways to integrate what they love into their rehab programs. I believe in being an advocate and assistant in getting individuals back to what is most important to them by using a client-centered approach. Utilizing an active approach to treatment with the combination of manual therapy is an integral part of that.
My main interests are sports medicine, pediatric care, and chronic pain. When not in the clinic I spend my time traveling, camping, on the mountains, and spending time with friends and family
